OPPO A96 4G Dual SIM Smartphone - 8GB+128GB - Sunset Blue

I recently purchased this phone at the Hornby PB Tech store. Great phone and does exactly what I need it to do. The operating system is smooth for the price & it's very customizable which I love. The battery runs great. I am a lite mobile gamer but this phone has handled all the games I've thrown at it. Feel like it could be a flagship but for half the price. The phone feels nice in the hand (both with and without the stock case though I prefer without) and it's a good weight/size for someone with smaller hands. The camera was a little bit of a letdown but it is certainly better than my old phone camera - I was expecting better but it certainly still does a fantastic job. It is also reasonably useable in daylight - sun glare is a little difficult but that is standard of mid-range phones. Overall - I am stoked to have brought it - Oppo has not let me down in this department.
The in-store service at PB Tech was also amazing, all my questions and queries were answered, and went through the checkout process quickly with no hold-ups.

I have since upgraded from my oppo a5 2020 a great phone in itself, but this is another level from a midrange phone. The performance is up there. Recommend this phone. I bought this in March 2022 (the 8GB RAM version) and the power button became non-functional after a year and now (<2 years) the Volume Down button has become non-functional, leaving it in permanent recovery mode because power+vol down = recovery mode. My old Oppo Reno Z was much better. You would expect the build to last long enough for the phone to become outdated on software reasons. It also is slower than you would expect for the RAM, probably due to an inferior processor. So went back to the oppo, has way better battery life than the Samsung and after getting used to it and setting it up how I like it, I really like it now. Definitely not as easy to set up as Samsung to Samsung and I do miss Samsung heath app, that is why I give it 4 stars. But it is a great phone. I'm so happy with my phone, even though it is a cheaper version it has so many more options than my old Huawei. Setting it up was easy and I didn't lose any info from my old phone using phone clone. The battery life is longer and the camera is far better. I was so excited when I realised I found I had a panoramic option. Really like the fingerprint and face recognition, so dont have to use pin to open (but can still keep kids out).

Phone is also really fast and so far great batttery life - can go 2-3 days with reasonable use (couple hours calling for work/day).

Has all the features that I could need in a phone.
Audio is great, gaming on this phone is peak, and it's storage capacity is massive.
