UGREEN UG-30768 2 In 4 Out USB 3.0 Sharing Switch Box

The usb switch does what it advertises, but with a few problems.
1. The thing constantly disconnects for the first couple hours of it being on, then it 'warms up' and stop disconnecting.
2. It supposedly requires a micro-usb power cable if you're using things like a mechanical keyboard, or things that draw a lot of power. (which is not included by the way so enjoy a 2nd trip to PB tech once you read the manual) I thought this was my issue with the disconnecting but in fact when I plug in the power cable, it disconnects even more. I have a home desktop PC and a work laptop and have been working from home this year. I was getting tired of having to unplug everything from one device to the other twice every day.
This has been a cost effective way to swap peripherals - literally at the press of a button.
My keyboard and mouse are both RGB so USB ports in general have been an issue previously with them cutting out at random.
This has had no problems whatsoever and I've been using it about a month or so now.

I have forever had to unplug my USB and plug in to another USB connector right next to it, this just makes it so easy and simple.
Its got a long set of cables and i plugged one in to my NUC and one to my gamer, plug ur mouse and keyboard in and any usb sticks

Works exactly how it should. Wires are long enough to be useful. Design is sleek and this can be taped to your desk or under your monitor or whatever. Works exactly how it should. Plastic feels a little on the cheap side compared to other typical metal hubs - but the functionality is perfect. Perfect hub if you have bunch of USB MIDI instruments that aren't right next to you host device. I'm using this daily, and I have attached the following:
1. Mechanical Keyboard (65%) No RGB
2. Logitech Bolt USB Receiver
3. Xiaomi Mi Computer Monitor light
4. Logitech Brio 4K Webcam

Works like a charm, single press and it switches to the other computer. The only thing is that if the lightbar is turned off, and you do press the switch, the lightbar turns on, but I guess that's expected. I'm using this daily, and I have attached the following:

Works great to switch my gaming PC with work laptop using the same keyboard, mouse and headset. Only downside is that sometimes just have to wait a few seconds to recognize the keyboard. An affordable option to allow peripheral quick switching between two machines without having to go the whole 9 yards, forking out for a KVM switch!

I've owned the UGreen Switch Box for 3 years and it's been great, but only recently have I begun to encounter errors (because I pulled a USB out at the wrong angle - not UGreen's fault), so am leaving this review just before I purchase a new one.

In conclusion - This'll make life easier. Great product, great design, lightweight enough to adhesive under desk, USB cables provided are quite long, and it's bus-powered.
