Zero hassle - does the job perfectly! There was a number of different versions of the Targus Docking Stations which made me wonder if they were a quantity vs quality type of brand. Shouldn't have been worried. Plugged it all in ... up and running in less that a minute. Zero hassle - does the job perfectly! I finally set up my workspace at home and purchased this docking station as part of that setup. Super easy to install, worked great from day one and now my work from home days are so much easier. Its more than just about the purchase price. The price is fair enough although I wouldn't spend more than what I did for it. However, the advice I received as well as the store assistant's ability and willingness to setup the hub using my laptop with 2x of the stores monitors led me to buying the monitors as well. It was easy to set up in my office and will not hesitate to get another setup for my next workstation from this salesperson.
The hub does more than I need and the video output alongside those monitors is so good. My IT guy didn't have any trouble either setting up our intranet and sound system to it. I can literally switch a single cable and my whole setup - 2 monitors, power, headset, external keyboard and mouse switch over to the other laptop. Very easy to setup. Worked out the box on my HP laptop and worked on the mac after installing the Displaylink software.
