I've had this for around a month now. It seems to do what it's supposed to do. The effects aren't instantaneous but after an hour or so of gaming the laptop fans definitely seem quieter. The cooling fan itself is very quiet and the blue LED is a nice touch. It feels plastic but rugged enough to do the job. Fan speed dial is a tad confusing as there is no way to tell which way makes the fan goes faster with it being so quiet. Overall a good product at a good price I've had this for around a month now.
