TP-Link Archer T2U (AC600) Dual-Band WiFi 5 Nano USB Wireless Adapter

I bought the first one on 30-Sep-2021. It broke down mysteriously around 20-Jul-2022.
I bought the second one, on the same day. By Aug-2022, it too stopped working, all of a sudden !!!!

Their firmware seem to have a bug and don't get installed/loaded.
On linux, dmesg shows:

This wifi USB works really well with Debian 12. It is not plug and play though, it requires a driver installation. Once the driver is installed , it works flawlessly. The product works great, but internet is necessary for the driver installation if your PC doesn't have a CD drive, which is a little annoying, but the product works great once it's set up. There can't be much of an antenna in this tiny package, but 5G comes through a floor and gibbed wall with no trouble.
Have been using for about 3 weeks without a hint of any issues. There is some work to do to install to linux, but simple, and carefully described here:

So it is a WiFi dongle which you stick into a USB port on a computer which may or may not have it's own WiFi adaptor prior. You plug it in and essentially you are able to connect to WiFi networks in the 2.4GHz-5GHz range.

A friend had a laptop whose WiFi died, and this was instantly recognised by Windows, and just works with both 2.4 and 5GHz WiFi.

Pricewise it's effectively at the "sweet spot" (ie giving the best value for functionality/cost).
The more expensive one I upgraded to does work slightly faster, but this one is now going fine on another PC and I would have been quite happy if the T2U was all I still had for this purpose.
To work in winDoze (10&11) it must have its driver installed - but linux immediately connected through it without any extra driver blahblah :-) - only requiring its passwd. And quite fast enough.
