TP-Link Archer AX55 (AX3000) Dual-Band WiFi 6 Router

It's better than the cheap old one we had but I wouldn't say it's amazing. When it's good it's good but it comes and goes. Even got some Deco mesh to help and it's only a small apartment but can still drop to below 10Mbps.
It was also a nightmare to setup and do NOT use the chat help. I spent 2 hours after it wouldn't connect and turns out it was in the online instruction manual and took 5mins. Well and truly and great product. Had this awesome product promptly shipped to me earlier than expected. A lot easier to set up than others I've used in the past. Has functions that cater bery conveniently for our household. For a product at this awesome price, it really delivers speeds that are outstanding. I have 3 separate devices connected through LAN and 12 others running wireless 🛜 and I'm telling you, it runs us all well even while on at the same time. The just in speeds literally took my PC and consoles from 120mbps to now 700mbps - 950mbps The antennas are nice being able to configure it's best suited positions. Well priced, purchased on special. Got 800 mpbs download and 600 mpbs upload when standing right next to router on Wifi on iPhone. Speeds did drop throughout the house due to extenders (powerline) but overall router seems to be good for the price. When setting up with Fibre on Chorus don't go to quick setup, have to go to advanced and enter custom settings otherwise will never connect to modem. Well priced, purchased on special. Bought to replace an older ISP supplied router. It has a surprisingly small footprint. Connection to the internet (300/100 fibre) was easy as was final setup including a 2TB USB External Hard Drive. Wanted better 5Ghz range and 160Mhz. No complaints with the results. For a medium size home on one floor it's hard to beat for the price. Bought to replace an older ISP supplied router. Excellent value for money - the price point for this unit is great, well worth the money. Super easy to set up and I was up and running in a few minutes. Range is brilliant and gave me speed increases across all devices - with my ISP supplied router, LAN speeds were 7-800mbps and this router boosted this to 9-980mbps. Phones etc received similar speed bumps. It Handles all the devices well and I love how it tells me when a new device joins the network and the parental controls. But what you get 'for free' is more than adequate - if used in conjunction with the Microsoft Family Safety features (which are free) you end up with the same parental controls without having to pay the subscription to TPLink.

If you are looking to upgrade your network to wifi 6 and have a full household of devices - this is the one to start with.
