After getting sick of paying for a Microsoft Office subscription I decided to buy the standalone version. I emailed PB Tech to ask a few questions about installing it and got a prompt response. I went ahead and ordered Office Home 2024 15.10.25 and it arrived the next day. I installed it, but kept getting a message saying it needed to be activated, and when I signed in with my Microsoft account it said there was no licence associated with that account. I emailed PB Tech that night, explaining the problem. I got an email back first thing 17.10.25 saying it was a known confusion between Office 365 and standalone perpetual versions. I followed the instructions (which even included ones to follow if the first set didn't solve the issue - and they didn't) and now have fully operational software. I did research other companies but the initial response to my query made me more inclined to deal with PB Tech and I'm extremely glad I did.

Got a new laptop and found that my previous MS Office suite had expired and so needed to buy it again. The chap who served me knew exactly what I needed and quickly got it for me. Great service. Some improvements on the older Office package I was using, and even though I am an 'oldy' I managed to install it and get up and running on a new computer without help from anyone else!
