The top-loading bobbin and needle threader on the GS2510 mean it's easy to get started on your project. There are 25 stitches to choose from, including a four-step buttonhole. You can vary the stitch length to suit your sewing project. Use the GS2510 as a flatbed machine, or convert it to a free arm for sewing cuffs and sleeves. This machine is a step up from the simpler machines in the range, with more features to give you more options for your sewing, including a spacious 16 cm throat size.

Have enjoyed using it

This will last many years and has a quality of skillful sewing. Wonderful product for the price range it is in. Received the Brother cash back too. Sturdy and trustworthy machine model. Recommend buy for beginner and intermediate sewers.

Better than the the JA 1450? (blue triM)

The metal thread guide on top is much better than the JA;s plastic one. With the $50 cashback, this was good value. I can't work out how to make the stitch dial move all the way :( but otherwise it's good. I have only had it a few weeks, but like it so far. It seems a sturdy machine and worth the extra,
