I've tried many different power adapters, including a very powerful DJI Mavic 3 Power Supply. I was still getting power warnings until I got this adapter. Finally no more warnings. It's quite technical why other power supplies don't work, but given the low price of this adapter, there's no reason just to set and forget. I bought the 4GB kit - included case, cables, power and added heat sink as before buying research revealed this was a must.First project was to actually learn how it work and then install Pi-hole to rid my household of the advertising curse imposed by the internet. Went from zero to reasonable knowledge in a few hours with the help of Google. The 32GB SD had OS in 32-bit but RPv4 needs 64-bit version so able to download and create bootable SD in just a few mins. Unfortunately NZ news is still rubbish but enhanced overseas MSM sites.
Next project . . . . Enough CPU to be useful at price that is hard to beat - except perhaps by a Pi Zero. This is one was purchased to be a VPN server and with a nice Neo case (also from PB) is firmly part of the network allowing me to work safely from cafes etc. There is a lot of support for pies on the net and the learning journey is generally easy.
