TP-Link Tapo Smart Hub with Chime (H100)

This is the first time I've properly dipped my toes into smart home tech. Brilliant products and services, my Tapo smart home network now consists of 30 devices, lights, buttons, motion sensors, temperature sensors and they have all been working brilliantly.
Setting up routines and automation is simple and instructions are very easy to follow. Prices are very reasonable and the Tapo range of devices have a nice minimist design. I'm hooked! Cheap at the price, works well, easy setup but doesn’t have the Ethernet point that the HB200 has. Note the range is the same as any wifi even though they advertise Sub-G wifi used in this device as being greater-devices need to be quite near a hub and the hub itself needs to be quite near the router or wifi access point. Got this and a few door sensors about a month or 2 ago, quick and easy to setup app worked out of the box and was up and running within minutes

So far no issues and volume + variety of "chimes" to use as alarms/notifications isn't bad

If looking for a basic setup for door/window sensors, buttons etc it's a good place to start.

I bought this hub because the T315 and T310 temperature monitor requires it. It worked out of the box with the Tapo Android App without any hassles. I installed it about 4 metres and two walls away from a wireless access point in a powerpoint behind a sofa. The T315 is about 8 metres away through 3 walls. The T310 is about 6 meters away under the house (typical timber 1930's house). Connectivity seems fine. I bought this hub because the T315 and T310 temperature monitor requires it. Purchased the smart hub to help me set up some automated heating during winter, and it's been life changing!

Bought this hub however, I kept getting message in Tapo app that the hub was only available in local mode. Not great if you want to monitor your sensors remotely while outside of home. Had to return unfortunately. I have other Tapo devices like cameras that don’t need this hub work fine. So it can’t be my router either.
