Sansai PAD-661SW 6 Outlet Surge Powerboard with Individual Switches - AU / NZ

Good features with the individual switches and having a couple of wide-spaced sockets and the surge-protection. I bought two in Dec 2020 and one has just died due to the reset switch failing. This switch feels a bit low quality to start with and one has died after 2yr8mo. You could say that's OK for the price but this now creates e-waste that most people will just throw into landfill. I have had this powerboard for about a year. The individual switches are very useful. Having a wider spacing for some sockets is good too. The 1m cord might be too short for some applications. Also the individual switches can be bumped in some environments. In my case it was next to a kitchen rubbish bin and when the bin got bumped, then sometimes so did the switches, so I got an extension cord and moved my powerboard to a different location which is more convenient and better at preventing the switches from being bumped. I wanted a powerboard for my workshop tools where each tool can be switched on and off. This powerboard is perfect for the job. It is firmly attached to the wall. These powerboards are ideal, especially for the price.

- Build quality seems to a high standard. Switches feel good and powerboard feels solid and not cheap
- Extra spacing on the 2 final spots is ideal for those yuck huge transformer plugs
- Only one wee red light that shows if the whole powerboard has power (positive for me but might be a con if you want lights for each plug to indicate if it s on)

Brought as the current board I had failed. This while does the job would be better of each switch was lighted when in use.
