Much improved on the older version by being smaller, and fitting just fine next to other normally spaced plugs.

Beautifully designed as with the multiboard. I appreciate the ultra-slim width so that other devices can plug in next to it. Works flawlessly with the Tapo app. I’ve had this for a few weeks now and have had no random disconnects. Even when I turned my power off for electrical work, this connected right back up automatically once my internet was back up. A+ Beautifully designed as with the multiboard. Worked fine for 2 years and failed right after warranty period (relay is clicking constantly). Forums suggest that this is a common issue with the TP link smart plugs.

I've had to unplug mind today. Without a full-time wireless or Bluetooth connection it just seems to cut out regularly. So for what I need it for it's just not up to it. Also, when I go to use the app.It can never seem to find it. A frustrating product to use. I've had to unplug mind today. Got two of these for a really good price. I have been using one for a lamp in the lounge and timed it to turn on before I get home, so have light to see me way up the hall, Brilliant. They are small and don't intrude on double plug sockets or power boards and fit easily side by side. Easy to use straight out of the box. The app is great and intuitive with numerous controls. I will be purchasing some of the TP link Tapo led lights for the bedrooms, which can also link to the app. All pros and no cons. Great product and highly recommended. I bought a couple of these smart plugs along with the Tapo Chime Hub and temperature sensors to be able to control heating in the kids rooms. The TP-Link Tapo system is incredibly simple to use, a great app to set up the devices and a very intuitive method to set up controls to turn on and off devices based on room temperature.

Would strongly recommend these if you are looking to introduce some automation to your home, I've subsequently bought some additional temperature sensors and will be also putting TP-Link Tapo lights and switches throughout the house.

A basic WiFi controlled plug. Easy to set up and works as advertised. The more recent software for these things makes set-up relatively stress free. It plays nice with the other sensors in the Tapo ecosystem. The only bug is programming them (and all the other Tapo stuff). It works but is not always intuitive. A basic WiFi controlled plug. more useful devices from TP-Link. Neat being able to turn devices on and of either on demand or by programmed time. Seem to work ok over the internet if away from home.
