Purchased this switch to add a few extra wired ports to my home network, it is simple, work fine, well constructed and came with all I need to fix on the wall. Purchased this switch to add a few extra wired ports around my router/modem, and it has been working great. Very impressed with the build quality and it has been working since I plugged it in. Only (very minor) niggle is that the power adapter connects to one side of the device while all the ports are on the other side - if you're using this on a desktop then you'll have wires coming in from front and back. In its perfect habitat it would be wall mounted with the power coming in from below and ethernet coming in from above, power coming from one side and ethernet from the other. Or something like that. I needed more Ethernet ports and this was perfect for the job. Easy to set up. Just plug it in and away you go. Now I have fast internet to all four corners of my home.
