Kobo Libra Color eReader - White

This product is fully compatable with the local Library for ordering ebooks from within the Kobo and having the same or better features as other eBOOKS.
Colour is one of the standout features along with clarity of text and sizing to suit your viewing.
I see that it is waterproof but havent tried that but its good to have that insurance if a drink is knocked over.
The storage of 32GB means I will be future proofed for a long while with my reading habits.
A Stylus can be added but the cost is something you would have to weigh up. Yes e-Readers have come a long way since I purchased a Kindle and the KOBO Libra sets the new standard even though more expensive.

I treated myself to a colour e-reader, upgrading from my trust black and white Kobo. Both are great devices. The ability to borrow e-books from the Library Overdrive catalog gives the Kobo a real edge over the Amazon Kindle, and I also purchase from the Kobo website. The range is not quite as great, but it's pretty good.
The screen is easy on the eye, and bright enough to easily read outdoors. It is quick and easy to change the font size, and the buttons on the Libra offer another way to easily turn pages. This can get a bit confusing using the touchscreen controls, if the touch doesn't quite work as you anticipate.

Page turn buttons on my kobo colour aren't working as they are supposed to. On one button, I can press the top or middle part lightly for a page turn, but a lot more pressure is required for the bottom part. On the other button, only the the top and middle work with more than normal pressure required and the bottom part of this button doesn't work at all.

I like everything else about the kobo but the stiff and awkward page turn buttons as they work on my unit make it not that pleasurable to use. My thumb aches after a while. Finally have a colour e-reader. Pretty good colours. Not just happy with the amount of ghosting but seems pretty normal for a coloured e-reader. Battery is fine. Just really depends on usability. Not only the reader is beautiful and high-quality made. It's linked with GoogleDrive/Dropbox and importing epubs/pdfs are really easy.
