Elgato Shock Mount for Wave Series

Availaibility for Elgato stuff is at ridculously low levels and has been for a while. If you have Elgato products on a wishlist, you really are almost committed to buying them as soon as they are in stock.
I ordered this in August 2021, and received it in the first week of January 2022. I did have to contact PB support as it was listed in stock at head office but my back order was still incomplete.

It is expensive for what it is, and that you have to buy the pop filter separately as well is real nickel and dime stuff from Elgato, particularly in regard to the supply issues. I really am starting to get tired of proprietary mounting solutions from name brands though. Between Rode and Elgato, I've committted to two proprietary shock mounts and Pop Filter solutions for two microphones.

Build quality: I'm not that impressed by the actual mounting hardware solution, it's a little fiddly and also not particularly rigid in terms of attachment to the microphone. Unfortunately the staggered availiability has meant I'll be going through three mount assembly processes, the basic mic, adding the Shockmount, and finally adding the pop Filter - In retrospect, I would have just bought all three options simultaneously, regardless of vendor, and dealt with a minor delay rather than the 5 months hiatus.
