Huawei Band 6 - Black, All-Day SpO2 & Heart Rate Fitness Tracker

This is a good watch but misses some functionality

Pros - excellent battery life, good integration with messaging and music apps, good reporting using Huawei health app
Cons - average GPS, lacking workout options or basic standard apps such as stopwatch and countdown timer, etc

Nice cheap all-rounder for exercise, sleep and going through airport security without setting off the metal detector. I don't like wearing watches so this is a good lightweight option. Excellent battery life. 1 week with heavy use and nearly 2 weeks if I take it off and leave it on the desk from time-to-time. Fantastic watch that does everything it says it's going to do. The charge lasted for longer than a week. Connects easily to the app and quickly updates if bluetooth is turned off. Very happy with it. My old Fitbit 2 needed charging every other day, didn't track heart rate, SP02 and couldn't connect to my phone. I wanted a cheaper smart watch that could do those things. I found a couple of youtube videos reviewing this watch for value for money, accuracy across all of the measurables, battery life etc. It's performance wasn't as good as some of the more expensive smart watches but I wasn't prepared to pay for the expensive ones. It did test very well with step count and distance accuracy which were some of my main needs. I get anywhere between 10-14 days out of the battery depending on how often I use the watch. It's great being able to read text messages on it, control music and activate workouts. I also like that you can change the watch face display so you can see what's important to you. There are heaps of free face displays but I paid .58c for the one I liked. The face I have chosen shows time, date, battery %, steps, distance, heart rate, sleep, weather and messages and it's not cluttered or teeny tiny font either.
I've only had 2 problems with it:
1. The watch would notify me that there was a text message but wouldn't let me read it. I had to uninstall the APP and reinstall it and that fixed it.
2. it was over-recording distance and had my stride length at 73cm (I'm 1.5m tall). You can't change stride length but to fix it I changed my height to 1.25m and now it measures distance exactly the same as Map my Walk and Google Maps.
Really pleased with the watch especially as it's on the cheaper side for smart watches.

My son really likes this. He originally had a Xiaomi mifit 4 and was happy with it, which lasted for about 2 years before the glue came undone & the display piece fell apart.

He tells me this watch has heaps more features & is so far impressed. I was pretty stoked about the price (Boxing Day special). My son really likes this. I bought 2 as Christmas gifts for family members and they have been very happy with the watches. It was the first time they were using fitness trackers and they were looking for a basic watch which did not exceed their needs or technical abilities.They are really easy to use, offer you quite a few options and have a long battery life.
