It does what it says but...

The port locations are really bad. The power and HDMI-out being on the side make it impossible for this product to sit anywhere and look nice in my home theatre. I really want to hide it behind something but then the remote won't be in line with the IR receiver and I'll have to switch sources manually... I've since found out that there are HDMI Switches from other brands which come with an IR extender and I would highly recommend looking into those instead. Especially since this product is purely meant for convenience.
