Cruxtec DLC17-SG 17-in-1 Displaylink Universal Docking Station

I have tried this with an ASUS TUF laptop (4 years old) and an HP Elite laptop (maybe 3 years old), after a major fight and installing DisplayLink drivers onto both laptops the network adapter simply refuses to work , the supplied USB C cable is causing intermittant connections and when I went to unplug the HDMI cable the whole unit pulled out of the case . Also there is no supplied documentation and no website with which to get help . I had to search for the DisplayLink drivers drivers myself .

Would I buy this product again - Absolutely not , would I buy Cruxtec products in general - nope. I was sceptical this would have enough power, as its only USB powered and thought I needed AC power for a grunty dock, but it seems to work. I haven't loaded up all the ports yet. But the best feature is display port; download the software Display Link https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads, buy a display port - HDMI cable, and boom my imac M3 which only supported 1 external monitor, now has a whole new monitor. Im running Prem Pro/avid editing and I have 3 effective monitors of the imac which is fantastic.
