Works with iPad Air 4
Needed this for charging while using external harddrive & for using with projector. All inputs work, have not tested hdmi yet but assume it works as well.
The audio jack also works for plug-in microphone which is a bonus.
Downside: does not fit with a case on the iPad (even slim one). Also, I’ve had a Satechi adaptor like this for my MacBook and over time it became too flimsy that anything plugged it would disconnect with the slightest movement. Will hopefully not repeat with this one.

Overpriced hub
well it works... though the settings for the hdmi for an ipad are not set to fit. But it does work
But for the price, I wouldn't say it is worth it
Perfect for iPad Pro
After trying two other USB-C dongle/adapters this is now our go to for iPad Pro usage. The USB-A connection is great for the Files app, HDMI works first time with a mini-projector (not tried 4K), and the pass-through charging works every time. Given that it physically connects to the iPad (no cable, direct insert into USB-C) using a case isn't possible, but we use the iPad magic keyboard and it is unhindered. Perfect for our usage.
