Doesn't turn on when PC starts up

I bought this to obtain an additional (3rd) monitor for a ThinkStation P330 tiny PC, which has only two display outputs.

I am a disappointed with its performance.

The video quality is fine, however, the adapter does not turn on the monitor when the PC starts up. To get the monitor working either, 1) unplug and reconnect the USB connector after the PC has booted up, or 2) turn the PC on, then reboot before logging into an account.

I contacted the manufacturer, who provided lots of support (full marks for trying). We were able to verify that the adapter itself was not faulty and we tried a number of configuration settings on my PC t...view more
