This product generally gets rave reviews, and I can see why. I have used a number of arms for lamps through to cameras over the years, finally bought a good one and the difference is worth it for me! Bought it to pair with my Rode NT USB mic for recording and production, the mic arm works just as well as you'd expect for something of the same brand. Most mics can be attached to the mic arm too and the movement is extremely versatile, allowing for a number of positions to keep it out of the way when not in use. The overall build is clean and professional looking, while still looking aesthetically pleasing.

I have a Rode-NT USB with a pop filter and this boom arm holds it up very nicely! The mic is pretty hefty and I was skeptical about the strength of the boom arm levers but it works on all the angles I need! I had previously purchased a cheap boom arm and Im using the Blue Yeti microphone. The damn thing kept literally falling down as it couldn't hold the weight. Well I just got my Rode Boom arm yesterday and while I was moaning it was a lot of money, Im sold.

I love that I can move it to wherever I want it and it just stays there! I love that I can swing it in and out with ease so its never in the way. It keeps the cord so tidy and its as sturdy as a rock. It literally can't fall down.

When I ordered it, the product wasn't in stock. I was told it would be around 10 days, but honestly, inside 5 days it turned up. Great quality as you'd expect from a Rode product. Heavy duty, supports my Rode NT USB mic easily. A little slight imperfection on the finish but not a biggie.
