These are part of a well designed case system that allows a lot of hard drive capacity to be installed. They can be stacked in the provided spaces two at a time or can add one to the underside of a pair to make a stack of 3 if desired. I like the way they can be clipped together for mutual support. I don't own the case these were intended for but needed a solution for mounting some old HDDs in a new PC in front of the existing SSD and these were a cost effective solution.
