Needed this as my power supply only had a single 6 pin PCIE power out, and the rest molex while my GPU requires 2 8pin connectors. Hooked these up to the Molex connectors and booted up the GPU perfectly.

The 8pin only has 7 pins in it, and is missing what I believe is the sense line, but this doesn't appear to impact performance. A great stop gap solution if your not upgrading your power supply. I upgraded my graphics card recently from a GTX960, and wanted to put the 960 into my young sons older PC he uses for roblox! It didn't have the right connectors and this adapter did its job perfectly and it all works.
