Black exhaust wrap by Heatshield Products insulates your headers and exhaust pipes to retain heat. This action decreases the density of exhaust gases, allowing them to exit your exhaust system sooner (exhaust scavenging), helping to lower intake temperatures and increase horsepower! This stuff reduces radiant heat damage and can lower underhood temperatures by as much as 50 percent with a proprietary black coating that holds its color longer than similar graphite coated wraps. You can fasten Heatshield Products black exhaust wrap with thermal ties, hose clamps, or wire.
Black exhaust wrap is designed to be wrapped around your header or exhaust system. This heat wrap, maintains hotter exhaust gases, decreases the density, and that allows the exhaust gas to exit the system faster!
