RustSeal is a single component, ready to use, high solid content, moisture-curing urethane.

Step 3 in the KBS 3 Step Total Rust Eradication System.

RustSeal is specifically formulated to stop and encapsulate existing rust and corrosion, and prevent new surfaces from developing rust. The coating has a low initial viscosity that wets and penetrates the surface to the origin of the rust. By using it's moisture curing mechanism, RustSeal combines with atmospheric moisture to start the curing process of the resins expanding and interlocking within the pores of the rust. This unique process literally enables the coating to galvanize itself to the material, becoming an integral part of the surface.

While RustSeal will indeed provide superior rust protection when coated directly over a minimally prepared surface, only the unique 3 Step Total Rust Eradication System offers the proper surface preparation and unmatched rust stopping power. While the KBS coating has a moderate level of UV stability, the finish will dull and fade if exposed for extended periods to direct sunlight. RustSeal can be top-coated with any topcoat system you choose for a bright, lasting shine finish.

Rust Seal Colours

RustSeal is available in a variety of colours suitable for any project. While RustSeal has a moderate level of UV stability, the finish will dull and fade if exposed for extended periods to direct sunlight. RustSeal can be top coated with any topcoat system you choose for a bright, lasting finish.
