Eufy Security SoloCam S220 2K Outdoor Wire-Free Battery Solar Camera - 1 Pack

I've had the camera for 2 months and it has done as advertised. It made it through heavy rain and cold mornings and is still holding up well.

The video quality is in 2k and and is quite clear by my standards. As well as the motion tracking features which are quite accurate if tweaked correctly.
8gb of storage for recording videos which I think rounds out to about 3-6 hours of footage time in 2k.

In the 2 months I've had it i had to charge it twice ( initially and after a month )

to keep the camera powered permanently.

I unfortunately have not had a chance to try this because I installed it in a spot which doesn't get much sunlight and a good angle from the sun, and have chosen
instead to face / install it to where I need it to be for security purposes.

I hope one day I can get a 2nd one sponsored from PBtech so I can try the 2nd one in my backyard which gets much more exposure to sunlight ;)
I will drop another review of course :D

Apart from having to charge it every month if your not getting good enough sunlight and moderate usage of the device, I would give this camera a 5/5

Easy to install and set up however the recording isn't very fast, meaning that the recording starts later the the motin is first detected. WiFi pickup isn't very sturdy, as drops off easily and often. Otherwise very good security camera with good night vision. I found this camera and it's software very easy to use. The solar charging is great. No wires required. Found it easy to install and relatively easy to download and connect to App. Some additional instructions around the App setup with the camera could have been handy. Does exactly what it’s supposed do to. Can set sensitivity to movement, good night vision, great recordings when movement is detected. Can see what’s going on outside when not at home. I already had two older Eufy cameras. I purchased 2x S220 and they were so easy to set up and get working. Slightly smaller in size but just the same excellent quality. Highly recommend.
