RING All-new Chime Pro (2nd Gen)

The ring video doorbell was a gift for my daughter as a house warming present. Although she hasn't received it from me yet she really wanted one as she's familiar with mine and her brother's and can't wait to move into her new house this weekend so she can install it. Have tried all ways to connect device to wifi. Including upgrading my wifi to commercial speeds. Tried to connect next to router. Tried to use different phone. Have returned to PBTech (purchased there) to see if it is an issue with device. Apparently it is not.

Compare this with the Ring Doorbell which connected in 2 minutes - which was awesome.

But for the Ring Pro Chime - I've wasted hours trying to connect this device and to no avail. Completely out of ideas (and so is the internet :) ).

Who knew how much fun a door bell could be. Great product which gives added security through the camera and live view, it is also a bit of fun with two way talking and automated answer messages. This adds to the functionality of the Ring doorbell. Very useful for those in the house without their phone with them.

It works well with the RING 2 door bell. You can change from a select few ring tones, can use it to extend the wifi for the door bell and has an option to turn on/off a night light. To be honest I think for an extension to hearing the door bell the maximum volume was poor. I doubt we would hear it if you were vacuuming at the other end of the house. Maybe they want us to buy one for each room? It works well with the RING 2 door bell.
