Bough this because my laptop DVD Drive died after 9 years! Product works as expected. It's plug and play for my Windows 10 laptop. Initially my logitech mouse didn't work, but after some time, it started working! Windows or logitech must have detected some conflict which was resolved automatically. We've only had it for 2 weeks but it's doing the job as a DVD reader. It feels so light I though it was just a plastic prop; I joked to my wife that it almost weights less that the DVD. Great DVD drive. worked first time on Macbook air without issue. Can get a bit loud when running at full speed, however outweighed by versatility of this device.
