Good laptop - battery needs replacing though
The laptop is in good condition,, ports all seem to be working fine despite looking a bit wonky in their holes, and it's running all my resource hungry software quite well as hoped.
The battery needs replacing, or otherwise it needs to remain plugged in all the time as the battery drains very quickly 6-7% in 10 minutes. It's an internal battery too, so it will cost an extra $150 - $250 to replace with OEM or $328 for genuine HP part plus labour as it needs to be unscrewed to replace. The battery is disappointing but otherwise it is what it was it was supposed to be.

Keys were a bit sticky initially with some not working - F and 4, I plugged in an external keyboard in the meantime and will get a can of air to clean the keyboard out which will hopefully resolve that.
