I purchased this to replace my Xiaomi X10+, which was great until it stopped working, and then was terrible. I've had it for a month now and I'm seriously impressed. It has a very good, quiet vacuuming function that picks up almost everything, and the dust collection in the dock is also great: I've only had to manually empty the bag once, and it was so self-sufficient I didn't even realise how full it was. In our small, partially-carpeted flat with a cat and a dog, it keeps the floor clean easily. The mopping function is slightly more hands-on than more expensive models, given you have to manually fill the tank in the robot once or twice a week, and rinse the mop pad, but its performance as a mop is also great. It seems to be OK at distinguishing carpet from tiles, although it isn't 100%, so I wouldn't recommend it if you have mixed-surface rooms with carpets that might be affected by brief contact with a damp mop pad.

The mapping and pathfinding functions are similar to most Xiaomi products (seriously, the interface will be VERY familiar to anyone who's owned one) but it does seem a little more prone to getting stuck or lost until you've added no-go areas to problematic spots (helpfully, the "report" function in the app shows you icons where errors have occurred on your map during previous cleans so you can add no-go areas or move furniture around.) The app is via the Tapo app, so integrates with Google, Alexa, etc (you can activate a basic "voice notification" feature that will make announcements on Google Speakers when it gets stuck or runs out of battery, etc.) Scheduling and room-specific settings are mostly intuitive an easy; I like how you can save shortcuts for different settings in different rooms (e.g. "quick clean", "mop tiles", etc) and that you can set up different cleaning options for different schedules for the same room (so you might just vacuum a few rooms on one day, then vacuum + mop the same rooms the next.)

Other than the slightly shonky pathfinding, I have also found that it's a little more difficult to order consumables than other robot vacuums: the app directs you to the Tapo store, but they seem to be out of stock much of the time. As far as I can tell, PB Tech doesn't necessarily carry these consumables either, although I hope this changes because I'd like to recommend this device to friends and family.

For my 200m² home (about 2150 sq ft) with mostly carpet but hard floors in key areas like the entrance, kitchen, and bathroom, it handles vacuuming well across our carpet that is high pile and our hard floors of wood and tiles. It excels at mapping our multi-floor home quickly (under 5 minutes per floor) and supports up to 4 saved maps, which is great for zoning hard floors for mopping.
