I bought this headset as a replacement for some cheap headset without a microphone that I was using at the time. I have no complaints about specs and audio quality, perhaps one of the best at its price-point. However the build quality is rather disappointing seeing as it fell apart only months after I had purchased it with the headset muffs falling off and the buttons not functioning at all, this and the mic not working particularly well with the ICUE software, with stints of the mic not working at all or being too quiet at max volume leads me to give this product a mediocre rating.

Sounds good, the mic is lame.
Corsair used the the cheapest flimsiest plastic they can find at its most important joints, so that you will need a new one in two months due to material fatigue.
And of course they won't cover it under warranty they set you up to break it. Sounds good, the mic is lame.
