HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming Headset

I spent an incredible amount of time trying for find a successor to my beloved hyperX cloud II headset. Every review suggests that the cloud III does not live up to its predecessor. So I bought the cloud alpha and it's a perfect upgrade whilst keeping the sound profile I liked from the cloud II.

Download the hyperx software and choose: Profile 2 and set the equalizer to Gaming.

That will recreate the cloud 2 settings, but with the enhanced capabilities of the cloud Alpha.

The battery life is amazing!

Must admit I haven't tried other headphones but I bought these recently and very happy with the sound, quality and comfort of these. Plus the huge battery capacity.
The buttons are nice to use and well positioned. Small things like the mic button protrudes and the power button is recessed.

I have owned these for 2 months now… still on 40% charge! I decided I would use them straight out of the box to see how long the charge would last and I haven’t had to charge them yet!
Sound quality is great, comfort is great, I have zero complaints and I use these daily.
Well worth the price tag that comes with them, especially as there are much higher priced items on the market that I doubt would compare.

Unfortunately these stopped working after only 4 months - would not power on or charge! Bummer because the battery life and sound quality was great. My old headset which was the wired version of this headset recently had some issues with the wire adapters not connecting properly and resulting in my sound randomly cutting out so i thought it would be best to get a new headset but this time wireless so that i wouldn't have the same issues of the sound cutting out. When i bought this headset I immediately thought it looked super good and it fit my head and ears perfectly, at first I was worried that the sound quality was gonna be bad since it is wireless but to my Suprise it was actually super good and super comfortable.
