Brilliant piece of kit for anyone with a new MacBook Pro with only USB-C ports. This just keeps so many peripherals functional, plus an ethernet port for stable connection. I am using the device with a new HP Windows 11 laptop. The USB ports work fine but everytime I plugged in an ethernet cable (I tried two) to the device it would work for about 30 seconds then fail. After each attempt it caused my broadband modem to play up, causing me each time to reset the modem to get wifi back . I contacted Satechi who did their best to help me resolve the issue, but unfortunately nothing would make the ethernet port work. The same issue occured when I tried the device on my wife's laptop. So either this particular device is faulty or there is some compatability issue somewhere. I am using the device with a new HP Windows 11 laptop. Bought a Mac Pro with only C sockets. Three A types and a gigabit lan in one. Clocked an ssd transfer rate of about 300MB p/sec and that was music files so plenty fast. Always a trade off going for a thin laptop sacrificing ports but this is the perfect amount to make my laptop usable again!

I bought this to enable me to work remotely over summer.
I normally don't use ethernet with my laptop but I needed the speed boost.

I plugged this in and it just worked.
Easy peasy. And it was a pretty good price

Great network jack if you don't have one on your device. Haven't had any connection issues after 3 weeks of constant use working from home. A well built gigabit ethernet + USB 2.0 & 3.0 hub with 3 USB-A ports. The look and feel of it is slightly Apple ish (in a nice way), the corners are a little sharp but thats being picky.
Working out of the box (no driver install) using macOS 11.1 on MacBook Pro and Windows 10 enterprise on HP Elitebook. Performance has been good and nothing weird to report

I bought it with 65NZD during the second lockdown, but then comes with 40NZD. I plugined my wireless keyboard and mouse to my macbook pro through this dock station. well, it does not work very well, because the mouse and keyboard react slowly always, I do not know why, either I have try another macbook, it comes with same problem. So I have to use my previous one which is a simple one from Apple.com. I suggest it can work well with USB flash drive rather a wireless plugin, such as keyboard or mouse.
