Features
PTH420: USB sensor for temperature, relative humidity, and atmospheric pressure, offering exceptional accuracy (±0.1°C for temperature and ±1.5% for relative humidity).
This instrument, a member of the PTH series, is specially designed for environmental data acquisition where improved precision is required. The units are directly interchangeable thanks to a factory-calibrated, linear, and compensated digital sensor. The PTH420 offers a wide measurement range, capable of operating in environments ranging from -40°C to 70°C for temperature and from 0 to 100% RH for relative humidity, with a long-term drift of less than 0.03°C/year for temperature and 0.25% RH/year for relative humidity, ensuring reliable long-term measurements. With its digital sensor and USB connectivity, the PTH420 can capture and record very small temperature and humidity variations, allowing for detailed data analysis that is always harmonized. Furthermore, with its ability to measure atmospheric pressure with an accuracy of ±0.15 kPa, the PTH420 is a valuable tool for applications requiring precise knowledge of atmospheric pressure.
Like all Dracal measurement instruments, the PTH420 is compatible with free software tools, making it an essential component of a DAQ solution. For those who wish to integrate the PTH420 into their system, there are two options available: command line tools and VCP mode. If you prefer a graphical interface, DracalView is the appropriate choice.
- Easy to use in your applications
- Virtual COM option (VCP)
- dracal-usb-get: command-line data integration tool

CAUTION: Please remember that electromagnetic interference (EMI) may decrease the accuracy of the sensor. Avoid using this device near EMI sources such as motors, high-voltagetransformers, and fluorescent tubes.
NOTE: Note that this product is not waterproof and requires protection if contact with water is possible.
TIP: Avoid installing the sensor in a location where strong vibration is likely to occur. Strong vibrations may cause slight inaccuracies in the reading.
TIP: Before using any precision measurement equipment, it is advised to power the unit for at least 15 minutes.
