It is a solid metal frame and its really sturdy Its nice on the back these are places to tie down cables, It would be nice to be able to remove individual ports but It is easy to work with especially with a decent punch down tool. I wired up my house with Cat6 in every room terminating with this Patch Panel. This product has wiring labels for both A & B Ethernet Standards (which is helpful). It also comes with its own rack mount brackets and screws (all black). There are little white squares to write on but I prefer to use a label printer with icons. This is the second one of these I bought. They work really well there's good space behind to punch down wires. Wires stay where you put them (some other products don't).
