SATECHI X1 Wireless Keyboard - Space Grey

I come from using a apple wired keyboard with numeric pad, I wanted to downsize, but I didnt realize that the delete key only acts as a backspace, so on windows you now have to hit function delete to actually delete, and the control and alt keys are now right next to each other, so using the sofwares I use which have those keys as controls, its very crampt and uncomfortable, so apart from it not suiting my needs personally, its a great keyboard, connects great, feels great, defeinitely worth the money if you are on a mac and dont need to use the ctrl and alt buttons all the time like me. Purchased a year go as I wanted a space grey coloured keyboard to match myspace grey Macbook Pro. This keyboard is way cheaper than any Apple keyboard and there's a reason for this - it lasted just over 12 months before the the keys started lifting and breaking off.

I reached out to Satechi to explain and they had NO interest at all in offering any help, keyboard was just 2 days outside of 12 month Warranty and they offered no solution at all. An absolutely horrendous company to deal with and will never ever buy any Satechi product ever again. Be warned, the cheaper price might attract you but you get what you pay for. This 12 month old keyboard is now landfill - thanks Satechi , ( I am now back using my phenomenal Apple keyboard and have learnt my lesson!

Overall I am happy with the keyboard, nothing really bad like the mouse I bought from SATECHI. I love the size and functionality of the keyboard, it feels premium like the Genuine Apple products. The only thing I regret with it is I should have went for the full size, since this is my first time purchasing a non full keyboard. The only main thing I don't like about the keyboard is that it gets greasy and oily easily from mine and other peoples fingerprints, even with a good wipe and clean, it's a really big magnet to the slime haha. Overall I am happy with the keyboard, nothing really bad like the mouse I bought from SATECHI. I love the size and functionality of the keyboard, it feels premium like the Genuine Apple products. the keyboard design is good, but at least mine in quality some of the keys started to fail and now they double press themselves. I constantly have to delete double or triple letters that the keyboard inputs. A brilliant alternative to the Apple Keyboard. I have a MacBook Pro and was shown this keyboard by the PB Team as an alternative to the Apple Keyboard (which they didn't have in stock). I love this keyboard!! It's slim, very portable (as its shorter in length than my MacBook Pro 13"). The keys feel good under my fingers, I'm very happy with this product and the price. Great little keyboard. Small enough to fit inside Supacheap auto's second size up imitation pelican case with a NUC extreme, power supply, mouse and cables.

great value for the money, compared to apples Magic Keyboard, its low profile and flat, has all the Mac keys you'll ever want, it has back lighting although its poorly implemented, you can see the led's and a lot of light bleed all around the keys, and the battery indicator shows up in the control centre in the menu bar but always shows an incorrect battery level of %100.
