Super happy with this keyboard, the build quality and functionality is fantastic. It wasn’t worth buying an Apple keyboard for a second hand Mac Mini, so this SATECHI W3 is perfect for my needs. It works. It has a backlight. I didn't have to mess about with keyboard mappings although the option to "Use F1, F2 etc as standard function keys" declines to work. I suspect it's an Apple thing. Anyway, I'm happy, I guess we'll see how long it lasts. It works. It has a backlight. I must be a sucker for punishment. I'm now onto my fourth of these keyboards.

They are wonderful when they work. They have a nice key action (similar to that of the MacBook I use on on). Relatively quiet, and good looking. It's because of these factors that I keep buying them. However, in my experience, they don't last long.
One I owned lasted around 18 months, another just over a year, another about 14 months. The current one I am using, purchased May 22, 2022 had two keys (B and N) fail this morning. Unfortunately, with only a 12 month warranty, none qualify for a warranty claim.

I purchased this keyboard specifically because I wanted a similar keyboard to the one on my Z Book laptop. I am now using a 27" monitor so needed a separate keyboard. This one feel great to use and is very responsive. I would definitely recommend if you like the short crisp action. I have been using it for a week and am very happy with it. I decided against a cordless keyboard because I didn't want to risk any lagging which I have experienced in the past. I just have to accept that there is another cord on the desk but it's worth it! Works great with my Macbook Pro when using it with external displays, mimics the feel of the Macbook keyboard with a little extra key travel for a more solid feel. Got it at a steal too so I can't complain!
