After the purchase discovered it is not possible to share on the Windows server as a network printer as it requires DYMO Connect APP to be installed and configured on every PC. No stand alone driver for Windows server. Terrible user experience during network printer configuration from a PC; can not be configured using via add printer by IP in Windows, the printer can not be discovered on network in DYMO APP if the label roll is not from DYMO or inserted incorrectly. I've been using Dymo for a long time now. The 450 was a great machine. When I grabbed a 550 I didn't even think to check if it would work with existing, 3rd party labels I use. Why would I? So turns out that the 550 is not compatible with any other manufacturer's labels. Which means I will have to move away form Dymo. I've been using Dymo for a long time now.
