Features
The Porsche 935: a true legend whose story goes back to its development for the Group 5 racing category that began in 1976. It quickly became champion that first year, and in 1977 too, it was the class of the field, with the works team joined by numerous privately-run 935s. One of those private teams was Kremer Racing, which made some of its own modifications to the body, and ran the 670hp 6-cylinder turbo engine car in a striking livery that borrowed its colors and the mascot from the title sponsor Vaillant. Results were impressive, as the Vaillant car held off the competition in the 6 Hours of Hockenheim that July for a hard-earned victory; it would also record four wins in the German domestic series the Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft that year.
- This is a 1/20 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 235mm, width: 104mm, height: 65mm.
- The tweaked Kremer Racing 935 Vaillant form is captured in style.
- A removable engine hood allows appreciation of the detailed horizontally-opposed 6-cylinder engine after assembly.
- The cramped, roll cage-equipped interior is realistically depicted.
- Solid synthetic rubber slicks add to the finished article.
- Cartograf decals are included to depict the livery. Choose between the number 4 and 51 cars.
- Comes with a driver figure.
The form of the Kremer Racing-modified 935 is truly breathtaking, even in 1/20 scale.
A driver figure is included, with two different marking options for the helmet.
The rear-mounted 6-cylinder engine offers excellent detail, and is accessible under the removable hood.
Choose between the number 51 car, which contested German domestic races, and the number 4 which took a victory in the World Championship for Makes.
