The Zvezda 1/100 scale SU-122 model represents one of the Soviet Union's earliest mass-produced self-propelled artillery vehicles of World War II. The SU-122 was not a tank, but a self-propelled howitzer built on the robust chassis of the T-34 medium tank, showcasing a blend of mobility and firepower tailored to infantry support roles.
