Bought on sale during black friday. Was an ok purchase, however write speeds are lacking.

Great sequential read speeds, mediocre sequential write speeds and horrible random read and write speeds (which is to be expected due to drive design).

Drive does not come with DRAM (DRAM-less) and NAND memory and controller vary depending on manufacture batch date (to save on costs). Drive only comes with one NAND module (most probably QLC memory) which may not be ideal for lifespan of the drive.

Buy this drive if you're on a tight budget and value for money is most important to you.

UPDATE (11/02/2025): Do not buy this drive for your PRIMARY (boot) drive as it will feel very slow and sluggish. Struggles to apply standard app/windows updates due to the very poor random write speeds (drops to <10Mb/s) and stuck at 100% SSD usage.

It has the max ssd gen 3 speeds for an affordable price, it was super easy to install and get working, highly recommend this ssd if your looking for large cheap memory.
