I placed it on the grill. It is not blocking any buttons or screen. Just it is impossible now to adjust central flat air grill. But driver and passengers still have 3 round ones, that can be rotated in any direction.
Station has strong magnet for Iphone promax covered with the magsafe case.
Connection point in my case was done through the car cigarette lighter. Tried to charge from available usb, but it is slow. Connecting cable is about 1m and can be easily adjusted if needed.

Angles of rotation are fine for me. Material- plastic. Do not looks cheap and not noisy while driving.
