this momax 30w charger gets so hot to the touch it gave me a fright. I use it to charge my 20000mah Xiaomi power bank and my surface pro. so its charging at 30w full, it gets so uncomfortably hot it really burns my finger when I touch it. I haven't seen a charger getting this hot. this is not a big sized 30w charger, my Xiaomi 30w charger is much bigger in size than this one. lucky I only bought one when it was half price. momax is not a very bad brand, but this charger is not a good one. you get what you paid for. sadly this momax 30w charger gets so hot to the touch it gave me a fright. One of the wee sprogs upgraded me to a smart phone. I don't really understand it. For some ungodly reason it didn't come with a good old fashion wall charger, just one of those USB-sea cables. Apparently we're to technolgical advanced for for plugs. Times change they say. My son said I could plug it in to my laptop I told him I haven't turned that thing on since Guptil was captain of the black caps. The phone ran out of battery after I tried to show Dusty a YouTube of Taylor Swifts all to well (acoustic). It then kept playing videos and I couldn't stop it. A solid, compact, well built charger at a great price. I've only tested the output with my Galaxy S10+, it outputs 9V at 1.6amps (14.4W) which is basically the hard limit of the S10+ max charging speed (15W). I'm unable to verify if it's capable of 25W and the heat issues some other reviewers have mentioned -- at 15W charging the heat is not concerning to me for what it's worth. Charges the iPhone well with the maximum 20W the iPhone allows, however when dual charging with iPad with the "residual 10w" - this is where it fails. The iPad was barely charging, and basically limping along. Good for standalone charging one device (Replaced with the Belkin USB-C dual 20W (40W total) and that's been perfect). Its quite hard to make the right choice sometimes with the number of different makes, models, watts that are available.
But I was extremely lucky to receive excellent guidance from the young man that served me. His product knowledge helped me make, what I believe to be the right decision.

THe charger works for my needs, I tend to charge my phone and headphone at the end of the day everyday before going to school. This can charge both at the same time, instead of using two different wall charger, it also saves me up 1 extra wall socket for my laptop and printer. Doesn't block other plugs, works really well, all my Samsung devices charging happily (using Momax elite cables, they are excellent too!), recommend, I'll be getting more. Needed a wall charger for fast charging my new phone. This Momax works really well, and the price was pretty good.
