The Cambium N000900L001A Gigabit Ethernet POE power supply can be used where 1000BaseT operation is necessary. Software enhancements to the PMP 450 product recently enabled the use of the gigabit Ethernet port on the PMP 450 AP. In order for the port to properly inject power and negotiate a 1000BaseT connection, this injector must be used. This is only needed in the case where the AP is operating at 8x (256QAM capacity) and the duty cycle is set above 80%, which could result in traffic throughput greater than 100 Mbps in a given direction.
