This unit works driverless under Windows 10, it is true plug and play. However, I would have wished for software that allows some configuration. For my house, no noticeable improvement of speed or stability of connection over a little USB Wifi dongles that cost a fraction. Also, the fold-out antenna and the entire unit are too "plasticy" for my taste. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong in the sense that it works just fine. For the price, I would have expected more. Finally resolved connection drop-outs on my daughters PC with this well priced product.
Highly recommend you purchase this for long distance strong signal requirements.

This product has been 100% stable for me, with no dropping connection. The latency is also quite decent and not as bad as normal WiFi (<30ms) . Speed wise I can download at about 50MB/sec while being about ten meters and two walls away from a standard MyRepublic router. This product has been 100% stable for me, with no dropping connection. Great product, can handle high bandwidth a lot better than other dual band WiFi adapters. I'm tempted to paint mine red and white to turn it into a pokeball!
