Features

The AL-CAT6W Lightning Protector provides superior lightning and surge protection with improved frequency response for both indoor and outdoor 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet networks. The unit meets or exceeds CAT6 performance for the four data pairs. The design uses high frequency transmission line layout techniques to maintain an optimum 100 ohms balanced impedance in the signal path. These techniques and the use of Ultra-Low Capacitance Protection Arrays provide superior high frequency response and improved return loss for the data pairs. In addition, the unit is compatible with 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices. Integral to the design is protection for the two Ethernet data pairs and the PoE DC power feed. This unit supports normal and reverse polarity PoE. This CAT6 Lightning Protector is compatible with Wireless Access Points, Access Servers and Outdoor Routers, with or without Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) functionality. When using Motorola®/Orthogon equipment, the AL-CAT6W is an ideal alternative to Transtector® protectors. This unit features a weatherproof ABS enclosure with gasketed cover and concealed mounting holes. Removable Terminal Strips are provided on the input and output for convenience. To ease installation, the terminal strips can be removed. A ground clamp provides a tie point for earth ground. For maximum protection from lightning on long cable runs, two units can be used, one at each end of the cable.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase.
