Ubiquiti U-POE-at 30W 802.3AT PoE Injector

Nice enough, but we managed to kill two TPLink EAP225 Outdoor access point units when a staffmember unwittingly connected them for configuration.
Most information online leads one to believe there is broad PoE compatibility, or at least that damage shouldn't occur (ideally, your device just wont power. Right?).
We seem to have struck one of the corner-cases.
Where the TP-Link product and the UB are theoretically standards compliant, but this product didn't negotiate; and the TP (although rated to 57VDC, 802.3af) wasn't ready for 48V and failed. I had been getting warnings on my Ubiquiti LR AP, that my PoE router wasn't providing enough power so picked up one of these after speaking to the helpful sales rep. Was super easy to set up, just plugged it in between the router and the AP and worked a charm. I tried a different make before returning it to Hardy Normal and bought this one as a replacement...it does exactly what it's designed for, should have bought it first time round. For all your POE equipment that requires 20 - 30W power source. This is a classy white unit that will compliment any office. Comes with a wall mount for AP's that need to be installed close to the ceiling. I recommend this product.

I needed PoE injecting to power an AP and that's what this thing did for me. Bit surprising how expensive these nick nacks are, but say la vie. They are also bigger than I expected. Mine is hidden away in a cupboard though so it doesn't matter, it's hard to understand whats inside the box that means it needs to be that size 🤷‍♂️ I needed PoE injecting to power an AP and that's what this thing did for me. I got this partially unsure of whether or not it would satisfy the requirements for the UniFi U6-LR Dual-Band AX3000 without blowing it up, but it works perfectly.
