Trusens Z2000AU Air Purifier

Using this in a 20sqm room and it really helps reduce my seasonal allergies so I can live more comfortably. The sensor doesn't seem to detect pollen levels so instead of using this on auto I set it to level 1 or 2 depending on what I need (level 1 is quiet, level 2 much louder but good for bad pollen days). Cleans air like its supposed to, been sleeping a lot better. The front interface buttons have started peeling but dont affect operation and the device was cheap anyway. Does all the important stuff required of an air purifier, has a separate wireless sensor it communicates with that can be placed across the room to monitor air and adjust it's operation. no apps for in depth info or smart home integration but can't argue with the price. I hoped for some air improvement and maybe control of rural pollens but from night one with this on from midnight to 5am, I slept without the usual waking every half hour. the morning ritual of over 20 tissue down to one. Mainly bought to mitigate problem with Dust mite allergies. Appears to help in unison with other prevention practices like washing bed clothes at 60 degrees and allergy pillows, mattress sheet etc. The sensor can sometimes appear to get blocked and one needs to blow the contamination out. I also have the Trusens Dupont Z1000 model, and what I like about the upgrade is that the filter has a washable prefilter layer now. The night mode is good, producing only a very faint light.

I have no idea why they made this newer model give off one to three loud beeps every time you hit a button though. It would be very annoying to turn this off, or switch to sleep mode, while someone else was trying to get to sleep.
