First thing, make sure that the shift will work in your case ie that you have a good amount of space between it and the side panel.
I have this in my NZXT H7 Elite and it worked really well which no issues.
Made cable routing easy to do and allowed for better cable management in general, so cables weren't just piled under the PSU shroud in the case.

I bought this PSU after doing days of research on which PSU was not only whisper quiet, but wasn't overpriced and of course, available in NZ. The 1000w shift PSU ticked all of those boxes, quietest PSU in its price range, very good value, and fit exceptionally well in my be-quiet case.

On that note, if you plan to buy this PSU be sure it will fit, as the cables plug into the side, not the back of this PSU. On the Corsair website there is a list of cases this PSU is compatible with which helps, but my be-quiet case was listed as incompatible. I never had any issues fitting the cables in the be-quiet case, so if you are after an excellent quiet PSU to couple up with a quiet case, this is the PSU I would recommend.

I realized I don't need 1000w for my build. 850w is enough for 4070i + i7 14700k. This is good and quiet. Unless hard drive process the fan normally stays still.
