I’m about three weeks into 3D printing and after watching a ton of videos, most people recommended starting with the Bambu A1 single colour. I decided to go all in and get the A1 with the AMS instead — and I’m so glad I did. It’s been incredible. The printer has basically been running non-stop since I got it and hasn’t skipped a beat. The multi-colour capability is awesome and just makes everything more fun to print. I’m already considering picking up a second one because I’m using it that much.

Took 20mins to setup, I haven't tried the desktop studio software yet, but the iPhone app is all you need to get started. Im fairly new to 3d Printing having purchased my first 3d printer 7 months back. Creality K1C. I love it. I was looking for an affordable multicolour printer as my interests grew quickly. Upon researching, the Bambu Labs A1 with AMS Lite seemed the best value on the Black Friday Sales. So i purchased. and wow, the next step in prining has been so enjoyable for me. having done a little research, Panda products by BIQU and also PBtech, seemed to offer some very attractive hardware upgrades which ive purchased and fit also. Overall, ive been able to really make this printer unique to my own liking.

The bambu Labs ecosystem with the Bambu Handy app, and Makerworld site has been an eye opener of how easy it can be to access high quality files and assistant tools such as custom printed Lithopanes! by the way, PBtech also sell these led kits which are awesome!
In short, if youre looking for a cost effective, quality Multi colour printer, this cant be beat. Everyone should have one these :-)

Straight out of the box doing amazing prints. .20mm quality looks insane because of all the automated calibrations including filament flow rate. Getting bambu rolls with the rfid makes everything plug n play. I already want another one.

The printer came very well packaged, and with clear and accurate instructions for assembly.
I was printing within 30 minutes of unboxing.
The PBTech salesman gave me great advice including skipping the entry level A1 mini. I'm glad I did because the the extra features are worth it - even for a beginner. The printer came very well packaged, and with clear and accurate instructions for assembly.
